Dear Reader,
The item being researched is the Lord of the Rings and how it has become so successful as well as popular. J.R.R. Tolkien's books did not start off as popular as today. They started off as children's books and eventually grew towards more mature audiences. Most books start off and stay in one type of audience, normally aimed at children, teens or adults. However, the action and adventure children's stories had extremely in depth characterization and an original plot which led to the spread of older people. This series can relate to anyone and is immensely fun to read.
The genres within this project represent the origin and success of the Lord of the Rings. The many certificates show just how in depth the characters are. The exact dates of people being born, marriages and the unexpected deaths of main characters provide the reader with thrill and nervous anticipation for what might be waiting on the next page. A graph illustrates the franchise earnings for the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movies only, not including the books themselves and various video games, compared to other famous movie franchises such as Fast and Furious and The Hunger Games. The grocery list displays how J.R.R. Tolkien truly created another world, adding different food and drink with its own background. For example, Lembas bread was only made by the elves, and is said to fill a grown man in one bite. The genres within this project further illustrate how in depth and developed J.R.R. Tolkien's books are.
After viewing this project, J.R.R. Tolkien's wondrous world has been opened up to you. Hopefully you have learned the origins and success behind the Lord of the Rings and want to delve into the fantasies Tolkien has invented. Anyone who enjoys action and adventure books would love these, so give them a try.
Sincerely,
Hunter Smith
